Moving to Abbeville with kids -good idea?

Just moved here 4 months ago and Homes are going for about $99,900 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Abbeville sits at 831.8 per 100K. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Any advice would be great. Appreciate any input.

Came here for quality of life and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The outdoor recreation is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I've been living here for 5 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The housing market is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..

Bought a house here in 2020 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone about the same since then.
