Curious what people think. I relocated for work and With a population of 17,040, Aberdeen is a small town. The city has invested a lot in new development. Worth the trade-offs? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Public transit is underrated here. You'll probably need a car for most things. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I love the pace of life here. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Hot take but it's improved dramatically in recent years. I know a lot of people disagree but after 8 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I'm a social worker and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.
