Planning a move to Aberdeen -neighborhoods?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a teacher here and With a population of 17,040, Aberdeen is a small town. You can expect to pay around $1,024 for rent here. It's a a small town city with about 17,040 people. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Does this match your experience?
