Relocating to Ada, OH -pros and cons?

Longtime lurker here, Been living here since 2009. The unemployment rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $150,700, which is actually reasonable. You can expect to pay around $757 for rent here. Homes are going for about $150,700 on average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Fairview. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in engineering. If you're in consulting you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Southern.

Definitely worth checking out..
