So, My family moved here when I was a kid. Household incomes average around $41,917 in Adams. Crime rate is something to consider -Adams sits at 477.2 per 100K. Rent is about $701/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $101,200 on average. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Would love some local perspective. Thanks for reading. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
