My experience has been mostly positive. I have mixed feelings honestly. The only thing I'd watch out for is dating scene. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from San Francisco about 1 years ago. The main reasons were weather and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good schools in most areas

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are growing, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

We moved here with our family and it's not perfect but it works for me. Schools in Eastside area are excellent. Kids love it here.
