Best apartments in Adelphi under ?

Alright, Poverty rate is 11.7%, which is around average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Thoughts? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want pet-friendliness, then yeah this place is great. But if food scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in South. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in marketing. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I've been living here for 5 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The walkability is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

The food scene here is decent. Tons of great farm-to-table places. it was the best decision I ever made.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Cedar Grove for 7 years. Moved from Chicago for work. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is decent. We bought in 2022 at k and it's now worth up a bit than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 4-bed in a safe area. The market is competitive but not impossible.

**Employment:**
manufacturing is strong here. marketing is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are competitive for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it's been a really good experience overall. The outdoor scene is hit or miss - we have desert landscapes within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Cedar Grove schools are pretty good. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Summers can be brutally hot. Bugs and humidity in summer. And weather can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For remote workers, I'd say this is a 7/10. Give it a chance - it might surprise you.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.
