Best apartments in Adelphi under ?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm a college student here and Homes are going for about $401,700 on average. The weather takes some getting used to. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks! Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The walkability is honestly challenging and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I work in construction here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is pretty good. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want public transit, then yeah this place is great. But if pet-friendliness matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Dallas and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Old Town. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in marketing. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Italian.

Hope this helps!.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a contractor who relocated here from Seattle about 9 years ago. The main reasons were work and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Close to major attractions
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Can feel isolated
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are stable, gas is better than expected.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

We moved here with our family and it's exactly what I was looking for. Schools in Oak Park area are tough. Kids love it here.

Bought a house here in 2023 and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Property values have gone about the same since then.
