Hey, I'm a teacher here and The unemployment rate is 1.8%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $77,337 in Affton. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Does this match your experience? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
