Agoura Hills quality of life -am I missing something?

I grew up here but left for a while. Homes are going for about $1,072,200 on average. Average temperature is around 66--F, so the weather is moderate. Household incomes average around $171,944 in Agoura Hills. The unemployment rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $3,094 for rent here. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Pros:
- Great weather
- Friendly people
- Good healthcare facilities
- Plenty of shopping options

Cons:
- Rising rent prices
- Sprawl everywhere
- Not very walkable
- High property taxes
- Chain restaurants dominate
Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Used to live on the The Heights side, now on the Lakewood side. Completely different vibe. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are average, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
