Things Agoura Hills needs to improve
Hey folks, I'm a college student here and Rent is about $3,094/month for a decent place. It's a a small town city with about 19,881 people. Household incomes average around $171,944 in Agoura Hills. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
Pros:
- Good job market
- Friendly people
- Growing food scene
Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Cold winters
- Rising rent prices
- Lack of diversity
- Chain restaurants dominate
Am I overthinking this? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
