My partner and I are Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. Household incomes average around $40,762 in Ahoskie. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Thanks for reading. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I'd watch out for is traffic. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I've lived in Sunset for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The job market scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for retirees. Hope this helps!.
