Just moved to Airway Heights, any tips?

Hey, I've been here for 20 years and The median home value here is around $286,900, which seems about average. Household incomes average around $64,659 in Airway Heights. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Thoughts? Looking forward to hearing from you all. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

I've lived in South for about 10 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by job market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The nightlife scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Road conditions need improvement

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for singles. Feel free to reach out with questions..
