Freelancing from Alafaya -experience?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm originally from Austin and With a population of 90,874, Alafaya is a smaller city. The unemployment rate is 3.7%, which is pretty low. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. What do you all think? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. The city has invested a lot in new development.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Cedar Grove. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in tech. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Italian.

No regrets on my end..
