Why I chose Alamo Heights over bigger cities

I'm single, late 20s, and It's a a small town city with about 7,443 people. The unemployment rate is 1.0%, which is pretty low. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
