Anyone regret moving to Albany?
First post here. We're a young couple and Rent is about $2,389/month for a decent place. It's a a small town city with about 19,768 people. Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. With a population of 19,768, Albany is a small town. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Anyone in a similar situation? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
