Hi all, Household incomes average around $135,927 in Albany. With a population of 19,768, Albany is a small town. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Let me know your thoughts. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
