Career opportunities in Albany, GA

My family moved here when I was a kid. It's a a smaller city city with about 67,939 people. The median home value here is around $118,700, which is actually reasonable. Poverty rate is 24.2%, which is higher than I expected. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Am I overthinking this? The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is job market. it was the best decision I ever made. Worth doing your research before committing.
