Housing in Albany compared to Kansas City
So, It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Any advice would be great.

I've been living here for 1 years and I'd say there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The healthcare is solid compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..
