Albany is underrated, change my mind

Random thought, I relocated for work and With a population of 56,773, Albany is a smaller city. Rent is about $1,311/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 8.8%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $73,809, which feels about average for the area. The median home value here is around $352,900, which seems about average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Pros:
- Nice parks and trails
- Good healthcare facilities
- Walkable downtown
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Not very walkable
- Poor road conditions
- Far from major airports
Thoughts? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Weather-wise, the summers are average and winters are manageable. You get used to it after the first year.
