I've been living here for 2 years and I'd say it exceeded my expectations. The walkability is excellent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Bought a house here in 2024 and I have mixed feelings honestly. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Boston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Midtown. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in construction. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

Hope this helps!.
