Hey everyone, Just moved here 2 months ago and Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. You can expect to pay around $1,057 for rent here. With a population of 11,635, Alcoa is a small town. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Any help is appreciated. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
