Hey everyone, I grew up here but left for a while. Median household income is $40,916, which feels on the lower side for the area. Rent is about $1,325/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $104,600, which is actually reasonable. It's a a small town city with about 15,434 people. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Anyone in a similar situation? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
