My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is school system. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..

Came here for quality of life and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The school system is honestly solid and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Internet is improving in most areas.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are excellent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from San Diego about 8 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are competitive, gas is challenging.

Socially, it exceeded my expectations. No regrets on my end..
