Best areas to explore in Alexandria?

Homes are going for about $182,800 on average. With a population of 44,566, Alexandria is a smaller city. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Is this normal for Alexandria?

Moved here from Nashville about 12 years ago. I love the pace of life here. Still getting used to housing market but Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
