Working in Alexandria -salaries realistic?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but The unemployment rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $946/month for a decent place. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Has anyone dealt with this?

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's exactly what I was looking for. Definitely worth checking out..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want food scene, then yeah this place is great. But if dating scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
