Life in Alexandria as a young professional

Been meaning to ask this. We're a young couple and Median household income is $61,558, which feels about average for the area. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Am I wrong here? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Weather-wise, the summers are decent and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.
