Hey folks, It's a a small town city with about 1,145 people. The unemployment rate is 7.2%, which is concerning. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. What do you all think? Looking forward to hearing from you all. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a HR manager who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 8 years ago. The main reasons were weather and a job opportunity.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited entertainment options
Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are developing, gas is hit or miss.
Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it exceeded my expectations. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

We moved here with our family and it exceeded my expectations. Schools in Riverside area are better than expected. Kids love it here.
