Anyone else love living in Algonquin?

OK so We have two kids and Household incomes average around $131,753 in Algonquin. The unemployment rate is 3.2%, which is pretty low. With a population of 29,904, Algonquin is a smaller city. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I'd watch out for is cost of living. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Internet is hit or miss in most areas.

Used to live on the Pine Hills side, now on the Meadowbrook side. Completely different vibe. I love the pace of life here.
