Studio apartments in Alhambra -options?

Been meaning to ask this. Just moved here 4 months ago and With a population of 81,483, Alhambra is a smaller city. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Worth the trade-offs? The city has invested a lot in new development.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is public transit. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Worth doing your research before committing.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Boston about 8 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Active local events and festivals
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are established, gas is improving.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Nashville about 1 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good schools in most areas
- Lots of new development happening

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are manageable, gas is improving.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Definitely worth checking out..

I work in manufacturing here and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market for my field is challenging. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Houston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in West. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in consulting. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Southern.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
