It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Any advice would be great. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The job market is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a electrician who relocated here from San Francisco about 11 years ago. The main reasons were work and weather.
Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good healthcare facilities
Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Chain restaurants dominate
Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are wild, gas is better than expected.
Socially, the quality of life is solid. Definitely worth checking out..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if public transit matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
