Should I move to Allison Park or stay in Boston?

First post here. I'm a college student here and It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in Uptown area are better than expected. Kids love it here.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 7 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Maple Ridge side vs the Pine Hills side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
