Alpharetta is underrated, change my mind

Hi all, It's a a smaller city city with about 66,355 people. Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. The median home value here is around $605,700, which is pretty steep. With a population of 66,355, Alpharetta is a smaller city. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Should I be concerned? The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Pittsburgh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Riverside. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in tech you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
