Hey, Crime rate is something to consider -Alpine sits at 318.0 per 100K. Poverty rate is 7.8%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I overthinking this? Cheers. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
