Random thought, We're a young couple and The unemployment rate is 2.7%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $810,000 on average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a writer who relocated here from Nashville about 8 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Affordable housing options
- Good airport with direct flights
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are affordable, gas is underrated.
