Came here for cost of living and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The pet-friendliness is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I work in marketing here and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market for my field is solid. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I've been living here for 6 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The nightlife is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are hit or miss, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
