First post here. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Median household income is $111,976, which feels pretty solid for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Alum Rock sits at 321.1 per 100K. Poverty rate is 5.1%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $880,000, which is pretty steep. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What do you all think?
