Remote worker thinking about Alum Rock

We're a young couple and Household incomes average around $111,976 in Alum Rock. It's a a small town city with about 11,619 people. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I wrong here? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to.

Public transit is solid here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
