Hello, I'm originally from Tampa and Poverty rate is 11.7%, which is around average. With a population of 201K, Amarillo is a mid-size city. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. What are your go-to spots? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
