Anyone else feel this way? I'm a teacher here and Poverty rate is 11.7%, which is around average. Average temperature is around 60°F, so the weather is moderate. The median home value here is around $186,800, which is actually reasonable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Am I wrong here? The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development.
