Is American Fork a good place to live?

First post here. I'm a college student here and The median home value here is around $467,900, which is pretty steep. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What do you all think?

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is walkability. it exceeded my expectations. Worth doing your research before committing.
