Is Americus good for remote workers?

Hi all, I'm a college student here and Poverty rate is 24.3%, which is higher than I expected. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

I've been living here for 6 years and I'd say I love the pace of life here. The walkability is hit or miss compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..
