Alright, Rent is about $1,008/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $44,236 in Ames. Average temperature is around 69--F, so the weather is moderate. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Am I wrong here? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
