Pros and cons of Amesbury Town after 7 years

Random thought, I'm a teacher here and Household incomes average around $100,599 in Amesbury Town. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What do you all think?

Came here for family and stayed because it exceeded my expectations. The outdoor recreation is honestly surprisingly good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Public transit is pretty good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.

I've been living here for 8 years and I'd say there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The pet-friendliness is excellent compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. I genuinely enjoy living here. Compared to Portland it's excellent.
