Alright, Been living here since 2012. Poverty rate is 6.6%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 1.9%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Has anyone dealt with this? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Hope this helps!.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's not perfect but it works for me. Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Boston and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Old Town. It's average for what you get.
Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in tech. If you're in legal you might struggle.
People: Generally pretty good. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: average. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.
Hope this helps!.

Bought a house here in 2022 and it's been a really good experience overall. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
