Anyone else feel this way? With a population of 18,496, Ammon is a small town. Homes are going for about $336,500 on average. The city has invested a lot in new development. Does this match your experience?

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Internet is excellent in most areas.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.
I've been here 14 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the nightlife is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is solid.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Downtown side vs the Meadowbrook side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
