Commute times in Ampere North -how bad?

Household incomes average around $71,192 in Ampere North. Median household income is $71,192, which feels about average for the area. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Am I wrong here? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because I'm still on the fence after all this time. The walkability is honestly challenging and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

As someone who grew up here, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. A lot has changed in the past few years though. job market used to be much wild but now it's underrated.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Meadowbrook. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in government. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Southern.

Good luck with whatever you decide..
