Honest thoughts on life in Anaheim

I work in real estate and Median household income is $90,583, which feels pretty solid for the area. Household incomes average around $90,583 in Anaheim. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Worth the trade-offs? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a lawyer who relocated here from Austin about 11 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good airport with direct flights
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are pricey, gas is underrated.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Public transit is challenging here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.
