Alright, Been living here since 2016. Homes are going for about $251,600 on average. The unemployment rate is 3.9%, which is pretty low. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Let me know your thoughts. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I have mixed feelings honestly. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Highland. It's average for what you get.
Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in tech you might struggle.
People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Mexican.
