Job market in Anderson Creek for tech?

Random thought, I work in finance and It's a a small town city with about 14,021 people. Homes are going for about $251,600 on average. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. What do you all think? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Sunset. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in real estate. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Korean.

No regrets on my end..
